ABSTRACT

This project investigates the production and analysis of shampoo, The chemicals were selected according to standard method and procedure. The materials were added or combined in the right proportion and the product was compared with commercially made shampoo. The prepared shampoo was analyzed for pH, turbid ity, sodium content, ash value and   other tests were carried out according to standard method. The result revealed pH at 5.16, turbidity 979NTU, and sodium content 0.26ppm. The results were compared with the standard given by the National agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control.
