ABSTRACT
In this study, we present a practical approach for effective sand prediction, control, and management using a numerical model tailored for unconsolidated reservoirs. By calculating sand production over time, we observed a consistent trend of increasing sand production as time progressed. Our findings underscore the importance of proactive sand management strategies to mitigate the adverse effects of sand production. Through the integration of predictive modeling and real-time monitoring techniques, operators can optimize production while minimizing sandrelated issues. This study provides valuable insights for reservoir engineers and operators seeking to enhance sand control practices in unconsolidated reservoirs, ultimately improving operational efficiency and maximizing asset lifespan.
