ABSTRACT
Jameson asserts about postmodernism “postmodernism is a necessary trend and it is a kind of response to the paradoxes of the modernism. Ecevit has this to say that postmodernism is “the environment that does not allow the loneliness of absolute truths and morals.” Feyerabend also says, “Science is imprisoned in method (method proposed by the modernists), by the conventional western thought and it should be liberated.” So, with these assertions by the postmodernist, we can rightly infer that postmodernism is a contemporary movement in philosophy which started towards the end of 20th century, whose ultimate goal is to deny and argue against the modernist proposition that reality can be viewed objectively. Secondly, that there is a rigid method of approaching science and consequently that leads to proposing a rigid method of governing society.
