ABSTRACT
This research investigates the satisfaction level of occupant with the Indoor quality (IQ) and Environmental quality (EQ) of a residential building, after a particular period of time. The study examines the adoption of Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) by Estate Surveyors and valuer as an evaluation tool to determine the satisfaction level of occupant, Challenges associated with carrying out POE and solution to these problems This research adopts the research survey design using a questionnaire as the means of primary data collection. A questionnaire survey of 90 was administered to residents and to Estate surveyor in the study area, this was analyzed using descriptive statistics. These finding reveals that 63.3% of the respondents are tenant and most occupant derive high level of security and maintenance culture on the features of housing Estate. The results also indicated that lack of proper ventilation in the residential building has the highest dissatisfaction level with a mean of 4.908 by the occupant of the estate.
