ABSTRACT

 

Recent observations from a personal perspective have shown that playwrights do not know the techniques of playwriting due to the unending need to produce and put some form of entertainment directly into the market for profit. As a result, their plays lack the basic elements required to convey the writer's message through his work. In the aforementioned quest to produce entertaining and marketable content, some playwrights are oblivious of the necessary steps applied in developing proper storylines. Another prevalent issue in the world of playwriting is the lack of requisite writing skills that protect the ideology of the content while highlighting the characters that communicate the message through their actions. The purpose of this study is to assist researchers in identifying and strengthening the playwriting skills they. The study utilized artistic methodology which involves the artist skills, The writer has discovered through the course of this research that the understanding that any methodology must be specific to the requirements of the individual playwright is the most crucial component of any methodology. Through self-awareness, a clearly defined aesthetic sensibility, and practice with actual play composing techniques.
