This study was carried out to determine the phytochemical attributes and fibrinogen analysis of Citrus paradisipeel extract on albino rats, the samples of the grape fruits were collected from grape fruit trees growing in the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo state, the fruits was peeled off, chopped into pierces, air dried, reduced to powder, after which it was pulverized and extracted with distilled water. The extract was concentrated which was used to treat the animals both oral and topically. The study showed that grape fruits contains different phytochemical constituents such as alkaloids, polyphenols, flavonoids and so on. The extract appear to improve the level of fibrinogen when used in the test, the 50mg/kg was significantly higher than the control (p<0.05).The study assessed the phytochemical contents of grapefruits, the results of the analysis shows that grape fruits contains appreciable amounts of phytochemicals, which have attributes of fibrinogenic effects on wound clotting, antioxidant and antimicrobial activity has also been attributed to these phyto chemicals
