ABSTRACT
The methods of communication among men have evolved since prehistoric times. The circle of change includes the time when pictures were employed to convey ideas. When the first clear, permanent images were created in 1839, it naturally shifted to the use of photographs to transmit messages. Even now, images still convey information. The study set out to ascertain if photodrama can perform the functions of sensitizing or enlightening the masses(people), and to help determine the extent photodrama is a viable tool for drama presentation. In light of their significance, the study came to the conclusion that drama and communication will always hold a special role in man's life. As a result, it is advised that photodrama be revived, that there be English and other language versions, and that play texts for schools, especially secondary and higher institutions, be converted into photodrama forms.
