ABSTRACT
This study makes use of the Petrel software to examine the reservoir quality in "JIMI" Field in the Niger Delta. The main goal of the investigation was to assess the petrophysical characteristics of each reservoir found in the field. These characteristics include porosity, water saturation, hydrocarbon saturation, net sand, gross thickness, net to gross, and the kind of fluid present. A well was able to reach three reservoirs: SAND_1, SAND_2, and SAND_3. The caliper, gamma ray log, resistivity log, neutron log, and density log were used to correlate the reservoirs. At depths of 2785.39 feet, 3155.54 feet and 3599.48 feet, these three reservoirs were drilled. These reservoirs were therefore declared economically viable for hydrocarbon production.
