ABSTRACT

For Petrophysical examination, a set of well logs the were studied using Petrel and Powerlog software. Petrophysical analysis and reservoir categorization are used in the procedure. Detailed petrophysical research showed a number of reservoirs, but only two were studied. The petrophysical investigation yielded average reservoir parameters such as porosity, gross thickness, hydrocarbon saturation (0.54), permeability mD), and net gross. The investigation of all of the well sections found that each of the sand units runs through the field and varies in thickness, with some units occurring at a deeper depth than their neighboring units, which could indicate faulting. The number of shale layers increased with depth, but the number of sand layers decreased. The two delineated reservoirs were recognized as hydrocarbon bearing units throughout the four wells, Dento 1, Dento 2, Dento 3, and Dento 4, based on the study, notably the resistivity log.
