ABSTRACT
This study is examine personal, social and environmental factors as correlates of sports participation among undergraduate athletes in Edo State. The descriptive survey research design was adopted for this study and a self-structured questionnaire was used for data collection. The population of the study consist 800 undergraduate athletes, while the sample size was made up of 240 undergraduate athletes. Cronbach Alpha Statistics was used to determine the reliability of the instrument by administering the questionnaire (test instrument) once to the respondents to which they obliged responding to. The data was analyzed using Cronbach Alpha Statistics. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentages, mean and standard deviation to answer each research question.
