ABSTRACT
From the results obtained from this study and analyzed as shown in chapter four of this research report, the following recommendations can be made. Concrete made from mixtures of periwinkle shells as a fine aggregate is just as workable as concrete made of the natural fine aggregate since all the results from each test shows a very insignificant or no variation for replacement of below 50%. 100% periwinkle shell may not be recommended as the little variation may accumulate to large variation as the percentage replacement increases. Each percentage replacement tested passed the slump test (30-60mm) with recommended standard water cement ratio of 0.6.
