PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATION AND SOME OF ITS APPLICATION IN REAL LIFE

ABSTRACT

The complexity of analytic mathematical problems which could no longer be solved with order differential equation (ODE) led to the development of the partial differential equation in order to breakdown such complex algorithm into simpler unit to be ordinarily solved. The idea and innovation of the use of PDEs has transcended down the years from generations to generation from the founding fathers of calculus. Most topics in mathematics and physics or popularly known as mathematical physics involve the use of PDE in understanding complex calculus related problems. Partial differential equations, just like hundreds of derived equations out there came into discovery for the importance of solving a real – life problem. Precisely, this research work details the application and use of PDE is solving and understanding wave equations problems. Conclusively, the ambiguity of a complex problem is not limited to just ODE, the reader should understand that there is need for the importance and use of PDE in our everyday analytic computations.
