ABSTRACT
This project explores the potential of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in improving transport logistics efficiency and profitability, with a focus on perishable goods transportation. The hypothetical business scenario involves the transportation of perishable food products, such as tomatoes and meats, from northern states to a southern state, specifically Edo State, Benin City. The aim is to enhance the efficiency and profitability of this transportation process by integrating IoT solutions. The project's design revolves around the conceptualization and simulation of various IoT components using Proteus software. Key components include microcontrollers, GPS modules, relays, switches, and communication monitors. Through circuit diagrams and simulations, the feasibility and functionality of these IoT solutions in monitoring and controlling refrigeration units during transportation are explored.
