ABSTRACT

The optimization of production processes is critical for businesses to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain competitiveness. This study focuses on optimizing the production process at UNIBEN Bakery through the utilization of a case study survey. The research objectives include evaluating the current production process, identifying inefficiencies, exploring optimization strategies, and developing recommendations tailored to UNIBEN Bakery's context. Employing a comprehensive research methodology, this study focuses on UNIBEN Bakery. It combines a case study approach with surveys, interviews, and observations to analyze production processes. Both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques are used to examine areas such as workflow, resource utilization, quality control, inventory management, and energy efficiency. While the scope is limited to UNIBEN Bakery, the study aims to identify optimization opportunities, provide tailored recommendations, and contribute insights for bakery industry improvement. We concluded that the bakery should be conscious of the time of production, cost of materials before production and man power needed for production. Process automation, inventory management, quality control measures, and energy efficiency were the recommendations made to significantly improve the production process of UNIBEN Bakery.
