ABSTRACT
This study assesses opinion leaders influence on voters Decision in Ikot Ekpene during the 2015 general Election especially, the Study examines whether there is any relationship between opinion leaders and voting g decisions of the electorates, determines the extent opinions leaders were able to influence voters decision in Ikot Ekepene 2015 general election and determines the reasons voters relied on opinions leaders.
The study recommends that opinion leaders should evolve better strategies in order to significantly influence the voting decision of urban and rural electorates. The study further recommends that Government Should provide an Efficient information delivery mechanism must be one that will take special cognizance of the Information needs of the Rural Communities.
