SUMMARY

The main focus of this study is to highlight the flowing direction of entrepreneurship towards e-commerce and online business platforms in the near future. This study analyzed and appraised the factors that affect e-commerce acceptance along with necessary theories and emperical data showing the viability of this idea. Survey design was employed for the study and using convenience sampling method, 40 respondents were selected. With the aid of a questionnaire, 40 responses were retrieved and validated for the study. Data was analyzed using frequency and tables. Hypothesis was tested using the Chi-Square and statistical tool (SPSS).

Findings from this study revealed that motivation actually plays a major role in the technological intentions of businesses as well as technology acceptance of customers.

Furthermore, this study has revealed that entrepreneurial firms play a major role in economic growth and development. Also, the results from hypothesis tested reveals that there is a e-commerce acceptance as well as adoption of online shopping by consumers is ever growing as it offers a higher degree of convenience so, a good exploitation of these will take an entrepreneural venture to the next level.
