ABSTRACT

Nonparametric methods are robust statistical techniques due to their applicability in situations where less is known about the parent population. Four commonly employed nonparametric methods namely; the Runs test, Kruskal Wallis test, Mann Whitney test, and the Mood’s Median test are presented. Application of these methods using both Manual and SPSS computations are provided.
