ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is aimed at investigating the occupational safety and health challenges encountered in technical workplaces in the University of Benin, Benin City and proffer workable solutions. To carry out the study five research questions were raised and analyzed. Related literature was reviewed in the light of the research topic in accordance with the research questions. Questionnaire were constructed and administered to the population under study in order to connect the research questions to the situation on ground. The data collected through the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics of frequency counts and simple percentage. Based on the data collected and analyzed the research identified several findings. On the basis of these findings, several suggestions and recommendations were made.
