ABSTRACT
This study addresses Nigeria's energy challenges in the face of growing demand and the need for sustainable energy solutions. It focuses on the evaluation of dump-flood and water injection techniques in Field ABX2, Niger Delta, assessing their impact on hydrocarbon extraction. The findings highlight the aquifer's capacity to sustain dump-flood for 20 years, supported by advanced numerical models. Both dump-flood and water injection methods effectively maintain reservoir pressure above the critical bubble point pressure.
