ABSTRACT
This research sought to find out the negative markers that are found in Ẹdo language. The main aim of this research is to investigate and examine the negative markers used in Ẹdo language. A quantitative research method was adopted in acquiring the data that was used to analyze this research work. The researcher went into the field of interest and met with competent speakers of the language with age range 25-50 in gathering of the data used for this work. The realized data was later analyzed using the TGG and X-bar theory. At the end of this study, the researcher was able to draft out how many negative markers are present in the language and how they are efficiently used.
