ABSTRACT

Resident in the Earth are mineral resources; some which are solid (Solid minerals), some liquid (liquid minerals) and gas (gaseous minerals). Nature was created in such a way that energy remains a cycle that is, conserved at every point in time. This energy; though sourced from matter or " particles as postulated by A.Einstein, Energy equals Planck's constant(h) multiplied by the frequency of the wave emitted by the matter(f) , mathematically put, E=h*f, traverses many forms in our real world.

Where must be the origin of matter or particles that make up energy that drives the industries and homes even outer space?; We know that energy transforms in to matter and likewise matter transforms in to energy but its origin is rhetorical. If we say it is God, then we drift away from Scientific believe!

Petroleum is a liquid minerals deposited in sedimentary formation; however, Petroleum can exist as Oil, Gas (Natural Gas) or bitumen. Petroleum is an economic resource which has sustained our country and some others for years.

In this text, the gaseous phase of Petroleum is discussed with special reference to its Utilization plan within the country coupled with systematic managerial skills stemming from WRFM and Data digitalization to solve imminent energy crises within the country. We will be looking at how to make energy affordable, more efficient and less dangerous to the ecosystem at large.

There is need to talk about Gas Gathering Systems and transportation network with special reference to theories or principles describing pipes carrying resources of economic value; the Geo in-situ stresses acting on pipelines traveling on the surface. We got some equations from Weymouth describing flow for pipelines with mean diameter less than 15inches; panhandle equations with its modified form and a host of others.

Facilities Management a subset of WRFM tries to envelope the title of this work piece, even though I do not lay emphasis on all facilities like valves, computerized systems within a typical oil and gas industry. It is prudent to note that, at all stage, whether at downstream, Midstream or even at upstream; a loop is evident, a process line of salient activities to ensure this energy resource meets the consumer in a safe and optimum condition.
