ABSTRACT
This study examined ‘National Policy on Organisational Safety and the Covid-19 Restrictions Management in public Organisations’ (University of Benin, University of Benin Teaching hospital, Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital, Board of Internal Revenue and Specialist Hospital) in Benin Metropolis. It specifically examined the various types of health, safety precautions and practices in place in the selected organisations in Benin metropolis; ascertained why government policies have not been able to protect the lives and happiness of workers in the Nigerian public service; explored the various responses and measures put in place to curtail Covid-19 pandemic by the selected organisations in the study area and investigated the various policy frameworks and regulations in force to mitigate the post Covid-19 pandemic by the selected organisations in the study area amongst others.
