ABSTRACT
In this work the regression analysis was studied with interest in multiple linear regression. This has to do with models that have linear relationship between a dependent variable and more than one independent variables. This relationship when established can help in determining a response when the explanatory variables are given. This concept is used in forecasting. In this project work I studied the relationship between the recovery time of BP patients after surgery (dependent variable), the dose of the drug administered to lower the blood pressure and the average systolic blood pressure reached during the surgery. The secondary data used was obtained from Delta State University Teaching Hospital Oghara. The analysis was done using MINITAB and it was observed that the linear relationship between the recovery time of BP patients after surgery, the dose of drug administered to lower the BP and the average systolic BP reached is statistically significant.
