ABSTRACTJudging by the increasing rate at which mortality and fertility rate has contributed to the growth and decline of population as the case maybe in Igueben local government area, there is a need for adequate research to be conducted in order to intercept the increase in fertility and mortality rate.The objective of this research work is to determine how mortality and fertility rate help in the determination of population growth.Data collection used here was collected through questionnaire from 50 people and the method of data analysis used was chi-square (X2).
