ABSTRACT
Student who have written examinations are always anxious to see their results. Getting their results are always cumbersome as they have to wait for it to be printed and pasted on the notice board. There arises the need for students to get their grades in a convenient and accessible way, whether in the comfort of their homes, on the road or while at work. Mobile phone seems to be an asset most individuals’ posses, and take almost everywhere with them, it is therefore a highly effective means of bringing information to them faster, easily and on the move. A mobile-based result checking application not only enables students to request for their grades, the system can also notify them of the result as soon as the grades become available.
In this paper, we are not creating a result processing system rather we present an android application which connects to school database and requests for students result after it has been processed. The Android application is designed using Java Programming Language.
