ABSTRACT
This research work is based on the measurement and effect of the sound pressure level emitted from a transformer. The research focuses on the measurement of sound pressure level and the comparison with standard value. It also determines the level of sound that can be dangerous to the human health. The results show that the sound emitted from a transformer is so minimum that it can hardly have an effect on the human system. It research showed that is practically impossible to eliminate totally the sound emitted from a transformer.
