ABSTRACT
In this study a deterministic mathematical model of transmission dynamics of Schistosomiasis disease that incorporates acute and chronic infected humans is formulated. The main objective of the model is to study the impact of snail control on the dynamics of Schistosomiasis. The model analysis comprised of establishing the invariant region, the positivity of solutions, the existence of disease-free equilibrium and computation of the basic reproduction number, 𝑅0 using the nextgeneration approach.
