ABSTRACT
The concept of conflict and aggression as an instinctual drive raises problems which are of great interest, both practically and theoretically.This research paper and the painting project seeks to express the need for conflict management, highlighting the negative effects of psychoanalytical conflicts and digesting the problems in other to present possibilities for the solutions to conflict.
Relevant library and internet materials were sourced and used in the course of the project. The painting project was executed through construction of stretcher, stretching the canvas and priming. It would also capture making of miniature sketch and transfer of the sketch to the main canvas. The painting exercise include various stages and steps and finally detailing of figures. With the adherent to the element and principles of design under supervision, the painting project is regarded as successful.
