In conclusion, this study was an attempt to assess the effect of fuel subsidy removal on business enterprises in Nigeria. An econometric approach was used to empirically assess the contributions of fuel subsidy removal on business enterprise as premium motor spirit (PMS) is a key economic variable in Nigeria which could bring about a steady economy in Nigeria. In the study, we realized a effect on funding of fuel subsidy on business enterprises growth in Nigeria. We also discovered that fuel subsidy removal has a significant impact on business growth in Nigeria. Therefore, it can be said that fuel subsidy program should be properly managed by the government because this will lead to an improvement in the business enterprises growth and the gross domestic product of Nigeria. The government should also ensure a reduction in the level of corrupt practice in the fuel subsidy programme and also prices of fuel should be monitored and regulated by the government. It is imperative for the government to prioritize the well-being of its citizens and ensure a fair and equitable transition towards a more sustainable and economically viable future. As a result of these findings, proper recommendations have been given for policy implementation.
