ABSTRACT
This research examined longevity differentials between returnee and non-returnee migrants in Delta State, Nigeria. The objectives of the study included to, examine the lifestyle and health related issues of the returnee and non-returnee migrants on longevity differentials in Delta State, explore the impacts of socio-demographic characteristics of longevity differentials between returnee and non-returnee migrants in Delta State, ascertain the coping strategies adopted by returnee and non-returnee migrants in Delta State, investigate the impacts of socio-economic factors on longevity differentials between returnee and non-returnee migrants in Delta State and examination of the impacts of spatial distribution pattern of health facilities on longevity differentials of returnee and non-returnee migrants in Delta State. The sampling method was the snowball methodology which enabled the researcher to access the respondents for the study drawn out from the three Senatorial Districts. Eighteen communities were chosen from the three Senatorial Districts with stratified sampling technique that comprised nine urban and nine rural areas that served as the representative of the State.
