ABSTRACT
The Local Government Council being the highest decision making body of the local government area, much is expected from them by the local people in the communities around, especially in the areas of development. This work therefore has been an attempt to examine the factors responsible for the poor utilization of local government fund. Looking very critically at the factors inn chapter two, one would see that the council’s management has not done their best in ensuring that most of its executed projects was successfully done and completed as expected.
