ABSTRACT
In this project, I have discussed extensively on the topic “Local Government and Rural Infrastructural Development in Nigeria: A Case Study of Esan west Local Government Area, Edo state. This is where we discussed about the background to the topic on the importance of local government and infrastructural development in Nigeria and how it concerns the rural communities, we also shed more light on the people and geography of Esan west local government area, we also talked about the infrastructural developments that were put in place in Esan west local government area and also the impacts this infrastructural developments in Esan west local government area had on the Esan people however there were some challenges as this developments did not come that easily.
