ABSTRACT
The goal and purpose of this project is to build and implement a Learning Management System which will provide a virtual hub where learners can access training resources online. It aids students interested in learning web development by simplifying the process through curating lists of recommended videos from youtube to make the search for courses on youtube easier, straightforward and streamlined for specific users.
The Learning Management system was developed using the Waterfall Software development approach in which the system is divided into different parts and executed sequentially to achieve distinct highlighted goals. A CSS framework called Bootstrap was used to style and implement the user interface, a PHP framework called Laravel was used to build essential functionality like monitoring progress and scraping YouTube videos, and MySQL was utilized to store the information on the website.
The Learning Management System enables users learn on the go by providing immediate access to downloaded contents wherever they are and gives them the capacity to effectively learn at their own pace. It also employs in-built tools such as progress tracker and points system to make learning session of individual users enjoyable and challenging.
