ABSTRACT
This project is on language variation and language identify a case study of the kegilese language.
This project comprises of five chapters. Chapter one presented all overall introduction of the term “language variation and language identity” its existence amongst the kegilese and other language in Nigeria, indigenous, and Indigenized language discussion of the morphological synnic, socio-linguistics aspect of the club, alongside the methodology use in the research which involves interview of the recorded data from the members of the socio-club.
Chapter two reviewed various literature concerning this work, defined the term in the work, the previous studies and the present studies, alongside variation, socio variables socio linguistics, lexical variables e.t.c.
Chapter three, this chapter comprised of the data presentation.
Chapter four comprised of data analysis, collected by the methodological strategies in the collection of the data.
In chapter five, the findings, summary and conclusion of this work were presented.
This work talks about the variation that cut across kegilese and other Nigeria languages and English.
