ABSTRACT
This project is divided into five chapters. The first chapter dwelt on preliminary phenomenon on linguistics discipline, it deals with language and linguistics and also language and register. Chapter two of this same work concerns with relevant literature necessary for the development of this work. The third chapter takes an independent look at communication making use of verbal words. It also shows how a social context can be a thing responsible for difference in meaning. In the fourth chapter we also take an independent loot at communication using non-verbal means. In the analysis that followed. It became clear that meaning on non verbal language or means is also context dependent. Lastly chapter five summaries the work of all other chapters and offer useful advice.
