CONCLUSION
From this thesis, we proposed a new probability distribution from the Kumaraswamy family of distribution called Kumaraswamy Inverse Raleigh distribution. The Kumaraswamy Inverse Raleigh distribution which is a 3-parameter distribution is obtained by inserting the inverse Raleigh distribution into the Kumaraswamy distribution by substitution is one that can be used to model a wide collection of right shewed, and unimodal data. Some properties of the distribution have been studied. We considered this distribution a good alternative to the exponentiated inverse Raleigh, inverse Raleigh and Kumaraswamy Inverse exponential distributions lifetime data analysis. Results from this study suggested that the newly proposed distribution out-performed the other distribution, mostly its sub-models in fitting the two real lifetime data sets.
