ABSTRACT
The landscape of campus food delivery is evolving, driven by technological advancements and the changing preferences of students and staff. This project, titled "Kudel: A Seamless Food Delivery System for Campus Communities," addresses the challenges faced by campus residents in accessing a diverse range of eateries, tracking real-time availability and order status, and customizing orders to suit individual preferences and budgets. The proposed Kudel system offers an innovative solution to enhance the campus food delivery experience. It aims to provide a comprehensive selection of dining options through collaborations with local restaurants, ensuring that users can find food that aligns with their tastes and dietary requirements. Real-time information about restaurant operations and dish availability enhances transparency and convenience. User-centric design principles drive the customization features, enabling users to tailor their orders by selecting portion sizes and providing special instructions. The intuitive interface streamlines the entire ordering process, from menu browsing to payment finalization. For partner restaurants, the Kudel system offers efficient order management tools, allowing staff to promptly review and respond to customer preferences while maintaining a user-friendly interface. Delivery agents benefit from optimized route planning and clear order details, ensuring a swift and accurate delivery process. The Kudel system envisions a future where campus communities enjoy a seamless and personalized food delivery experience, fostering convenience, choice, and satisfaction.
