SUMMARY
This study assessed knowledge of emergency contraceptive utilization and associated factors among undergraduate Basic Medical Sciences Students of a tertiary Institution. The study was outlined into five chapters. The result shows that majority of the respondents in this study had a poor level of uptake, less than half had a fair level of uptake while less than one third had a good level of uptake of emergency contraceptives. The study however also identified that there is a significant association between level of knowledge and uptake of emergency contraceptives.
