ABSTRACT
Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) which originated in Wuhan, China, in December 2019, was declared as a pandemic by World Health Organization (WHO) on 11th of March, 2020 after it has spread to many countries of the world.
Objective: The aim of this research was to highlight the knowledge of coronavirus (Covid-19) on the academic activities of pharmacy students, 500 level and 600 level, in the University of Benin
Method: Random Sampling Method was chosen in the course of this study; this is due to the fact that simple random technique is a sample selection method whereby every member or element of the population has an equal chance of being selected. A sample is a representative group of participants selected from the population. A total of one hundred and sixty (160) questionnaires were administered to pharmacy students in 500 and 600 level class. One hundred and forty-three (143) completed and retrieved, indicating 89.34% response rate.

Results: The results of this study showed that Covid-19 affected the academic activities of pharmacy students and pharmacy students were knowledgeable about Covid-19 pandemic.
Conclusion: This study highlighted the knowledge and perception of coronavirus among pharmacy students, the impacts of Covid-19 on the academic activities of pharmacy students and effect of the impacts of Covid-19.
