ABSTRACT

Though findings from this study revealed overall good scores for the assessment of infection control practises, which are commendable, there is still room for improvement especially for respondents who scored poorly for the various objectives that were employed in the study. Also, Findings may have been greatly influenced by the type of institution, educational status and income levels of the various respondents, and thus still leaves unanswered questions about the infection control in contrasting environments. Thus, it is imperative to outline relevant recommendations to appropriate stakeholders so as to improve infection control among dental technicians, especially in view of reducing morbidity and mortality rates.
