ABSTRACT
The researcher conducted research on the topic “knowledge and practice of water intake among students in the University of Benin” to determine the knowledge and practice of water intake among students, and the factors to at influence their knowledge and practices of water intake. The researcher made effort in analyzing the concept of water, water intake practices, water contamination, water hygiene and safety, water purification, the advantages of safe water intake and disadvantages of unsafe water intake, water policies and documentation on water sanitation. All of these have been discussed in details under the review of literature.
