ABSTRACT
The " J.P Clark and the Feminist Theatre; The Wive's Revolt in perspective" research purpose is to highlight the shaky position that women have in the society as a result of male exploitation and discrimination, to put the spotlight on feminist theatre which is not taught in Nigeria universities. The method employed in this research work involves research and investigation in the following areas; library, internet, oral interview, newspapers etc. In this study I have observed that women are not equally represented, or involved in matters that concerns them, they have been cheated out on their rights as a human, it is on this note that I recommend that society needs to address the issue of gender conflict, the man should also try to see women as equals, therefore women should never relent, they must not give up, they must keep on fighting to continue to make room for future generations who will grow up to continue the fight.
