ABSTRACT
The study in Edo State's Ovia North-East LGA looked into teacher motivation and output in public high schools for older students. This research aimed to examine the job satisfaction and motivation of secondary school teachers in the Ovia North-East Local Government Area of Edo State. More specifically, the research revealed that 1. in the public Senior Secondary Schools in Ovia North-East Local Government Area, Edo State, there is a connection between teachers' motivation and their job performance. 2. Regular promotions of teachers in public senior secondary schools in the Ovia North-East Local Government Area of Edo State are associated with a different link between teachers' motivation and job performance. 3. in public Senior Secondary Schools in the Ovia North-East Local Government Area of Edo State, the relationship between teachers' 52 motivation and job performance varies depending on whether or not teachers' salaries are paid on time. 4. Incentives offered to teachers in public senior high schools in the Ovia North-East Local Government Area, Edo State, have a varying effect on teachers' motivation and job performance.
