CONCLUSION
Agricultural waste is generally taking a new trend because it is now considered not just as waste but as raw materials for the production of a wide array of biological products and chemicals because of their rich nutrient composition. It contains lignocellulosic materials which represents an abundant and inexpensive source of sugars and can be bio-converted to industrial products. Findings from this research shows that the isolation and identification of xylose utilizing fungi conventionally using agricultural waste is highly significant in order to know the appropriate fungus to utilize during co-fermentation of agricultural waste for any industrial chemical production.
