ABSTRACT
This research work investigated the role of teaching practice in enhancing teachers’ quality on students’ academic performance. Important findings such as the challenges student teachers face during teaching practice, the influence of teachers’ quality on students’ academic achievement, factors affecting the teaching environment and more were made. The research made it clear that teaching practice improves the quality of student teachers in teaching and learning process. Also, the research enlisted the fact that teaching strategies contribute to academic performance of students. Thus, teachers or student teachers should be pedagogical inclined as to be ready to teach at all point.
