ABSTRACT
Glycine max (soybean), a legume native of East Asia and grown mainly for its edible beans, is used as a source of milk, vegetable oil, fodder and pasture. It has been shown to have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, anti-hypercholesterolemic and neuroprotective effects. This study aimed to investigate the effect of Glycine max aqueous extract on the mercuric chloride-induced toxicity in the hippocampus of adult wistar rat.
