SUMMARY
The preceptorship programme was an intervention to increase the awareness and knowledge of Anaemia in Pregnacy among pregnant women attending Oredo Health Centre, Oredo Local Government Area, Edo State. The researcher identified problems needing Intervention, one of which was some of the pregnant women had not been given adequate sensitization on the benefits of prenatal vitamins as well as the dangers of Anaemia and its consequencies to the mother and the unborn child if not properly treated. The Health Belief Model was used as a theoretical framework to guide the implementation of activities needed to change behaviour. After evaluation, the researcher found out that the intervention programme was successful
