ABSTRACT

This study examined the Integration of Flipped Classroom Model Blended Learning Method in Teaching and Learning of Business Education in Universities in Edo State. A survey research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study consists of final year students in the area of study with a total number of 284 students. The instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire. The validity and reliability were ascertained with a Cronbach Alpha value of 0.95. Data collected were analyzed using mean and standard deviation. The findings revealed that the integration of flipped classroom model blended learning method in teaching and learning of business education in universities in Edo State were largely influenced by Instructors awareness, availability of flipped classroom model facilities and availability of trained instructors. Based on the findings, the study recommends, among others, Educational administrators must keep themselves abreast with innovative teaching methods. Government should ensure that funds are made available for the purchase of flipped classroom model facilities. There should be a collaboration between Government and non-governmental agencies for additional support and resources. School management should organize in-service training for their staff especially business educators. Develop and maintain continuous improvement plans that involve regular review and refinement of innovative teaching practices based on feedback, new research, and technological advancements.
