ABSTRACT
It is apparent that Information and Communications Technologies are indispensable tools for the success of every academic endeavor in the contemporary age of information and technology revolution. The objectives of this research work is to identify the categories of ICT devices used in promoting students' reading culture in University of Benin; to find out the impact oflCT on the student reading culture in University of Benin and to identify the problems associated with the use of ICT in promoting students' reading culture in University of Benin. This study investigated ICT in promoting the reading culture of undergraduate students in University of Benin, Benin City. Six (6) research questions were raised for the study out of which three (3) hypotheses were formulated. This research adopted the descriptive survey research design. A multi-stage sampling technique was used to select 483 undergraduate students from the target population of 9633 as the sample for the study. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire: Information Communication Technology on Students' Reading Culture ".
