ABSTRACT

The study investigated the relationship between information communication technology (ICT) and student academic performance in public secondary School in Egor local Government Area of Edo state. The study adopted Descriptive survey Research Design, the population for the study consist of thirteen (13) public secondary school, through random sampling, ten (10) were selected as sample. A total of 150 respondent were used for the study in order to elicit information from the respondents, a structured questionnaire was validated by the supervisor and distributed to the selected schools. Four (4) research question were posed to guide the study.

It was found that ICT influences student academic performance in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State. It was therefore recommended among others that government should provide adequate ICT facilities to enhance teaching and learning in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State.
